Crème Caramel

Hi there! Sorry for not writing on my blog for the past month been really busy.(if someone actually reading it) *laughs*. Anyway today I'll teach on how to make a Crème Caramel, here in the Philippines we call it "leche flan".

Ingredients:

12pcs Egg yolks
370ml Evaporated Milk
300ml Condensed Milk
1/2cup White Sugar (Optional)

Syrup:

1cup Brown Sugar
1cup Water

How to:

1. On a mixing bowl put the egg yolk and beat it slightly, set aside.
2. Warm the Evaporated milk in a sauce pan, let it seamer for a couple of minutes until you can smell the aroma of the milk.
3. Add the warm evaporated milk into the egg yolks, make sure you stir it while you pour your milk, to avoid the egg to be cook.
4. Add the condensed milk and stir until it is mix, add the sugar stir until the sugar is melted with the mixture.
5. On making the syrup, in a pan add the sugar and water don't stir the syrup let it seamer and let the sugar melt on its own. We avoid on stirring the syrup so it will not turned into candy. ☺️ If the syrup is reduced slightly and put the syrup into molders or cups.
6. Add the egg mixture into the molders (skim the bubbles) and let seamer for a couple of minutes until cook. Try pricking a toothpick on the mixture if the toothpick comes out clean it means its cook.
7. Served and enjoy! ☺️

Pansit Batil Patong

Hello!!

I've always wanted to blog this delicacy  for a quite sometime now but I'm not sure why I am just writing this just now silly me!

What is Pansit Batil Patung? you might ask. Batil means mix and Patung means topping, the main ingredients are mince beef, mince beef liver, pouched egg, egg noodle, and beef stock, with seasoning of soy sauce, fish sauce, chopped onions and calamansi accompanied with beef soup. What I like the most is the aroma of the beef stock on my food that makes me wanna drool over! hahaha but seriously it really taste good!.
Yummy Pansit Batil Patung

Pansit Batil-patung is a specialty of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan here in the Philippines. And because of its popularity it has its own competition during their Pav-vurulun Festival. I haven't try going to Tuguegarao but I SOOOO WANT to go and TASTE the real and most delicious Batil Patung they can offer! hahaha

My batch mate/classmate in Magsaysay Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts introduced me this wonderful food. I first tried and fell inlove with batil patung in "Pansit Batil Patung Sa Kamuning", located at 37T-Gener St. Corner K-1st,  Kamuning, Quezon City.
My First Batil-Patung!
